Innovative Staff Solutions has a direct hire opportunity for a Construction Project Manager with a client in Champaign, IL! This is a full time, permanent role that is available immediately! Our client is a well-established construction company in the Champaign area, who has been in business for over 30 years! They are growing rapidly and have now expanded nationally, delivering projects in both small and large markets across several states. This is a full time, permanent position, with competitive benefits, bonus, and salary offering! This position requires to be based out of their Champaign office with minimal travel to job sites, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as lead liaison for the project and project team
  • Responsible for being the main point of contact between the owner representative and our client
  • Develop Subcontractor scope of works to be issued on subcontracts
  • Issue purchase orders for material suppliers and vendors
  • Manage Change Order process for all owner and subcontractor changes
  • Handle all RFI’s, Submittals, Notices to Subs, Coordinating the Design Build Team Disciplines
  • Manage Quality Control of drawing documents during the design –build process and document control during the project. E. ASI, Revisions etc.
  • Manage overall Project Schedule ensuring that Milestone dates are being met
  • Manage overall budget ensuring that project meets profit projections and owner’s budgetary goals
  • Conduct Design and Owner coordination meetings during design, bidding, and construction phase
  • Record and distribute all meeting minutes
  • Conduct Subcontractor meeting along with Superintendent
  • Prepare monthly pay applications for owner payment and forward to accounting for final review and distribution
  • Process all subcontractor and vendor invoices
  • Train Project/Field Engineers

Desired Skills

  • At least 1 year of Project Management experience in the construction industry
  • Preferred: Associates or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar field of study
