We have an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Technician. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of residential HVAC experience and can work independently.
Job Summary
The HVAC Technician will travel to each client’s location to inspect their current HVAC equipment and identify age of unit to determine if it is eligible for an upgrade. When required, you will install new furnace and AC systems and ensure they are running smoothly. We work in mobile homes, so you must know how to work with small HVAC equipment and also conduct duct and air sealing as part of an overall energy efficiency offering for the home.
Daily Tasks Include:
- Travel to homes as scheduled
- Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
- Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources
- Replace mobile home HVAC systems as needed
- Conduct energy efficient improvements in home based on findings of blower door tests (air sealing, duct sealing, home repairs)
- Keep work site clean and safely dispose of material
- Ensure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled out
- Perform any other duty that may be directed by leadership.
Desired Skills
Requirements:
- Minimum two 2 years of HVAC experience
- Completion of an HVAC training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship
- Current state HVAC technician license
- Proficient with manual and power tools
- Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or/and kneel continually.
- Maintain a good driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Pass all background and drug screens.
- Willingness to travel
