AAA Northgate One Hour Heating & Air of East Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a seasonal fulltime Receptionist / Customer Service Representative (CSR). You’ll be the first point of contact with our clients — setting a tone of caring professionalism and helping us meet our goal of 100% customer satisfaction.

JOB SUMMARY: This position primarily answers incoming client telephone calls and assists with the supervision and dispatching of all scheduled service and maintenance calls. This position pays $12-$15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during the summer and fall seasons. Depending on job performance and business demands, this position may become a permanent full-time opportunity. Additional benefits (health/dental/vision insurance plans, paid time off, retirement benefits) would be made available at that time.

JOB DUTIES

  • Answers incoming telephone calls and recognizes that this is where our customers will form their first impression of the company.
  • Has a courteous and pleasant demeanor whether on a phone call or not -- Good communication skills are essential!
  • Ensures that each telephone call is answered promptly and that the approved company greeting and script is used each time.
  • Communicates well with our field staff to help provide our customer with timely and reliable service.
  • Makes outbound calls to selected customers to ensure that they are satisfied with any repairs.
  • Helps with various daily administrative tasks with the office workflow -- attention to detail is important!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Above-average verbal and telephone communication skills are essential
  • Must have good computer software skills
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
