MB Heating & Cooling in Springfield, IL is looking to hire a full-time Service Manager to oversee the daily efficient dispatching of our service technicians. As a Service Manager, you prioritize efficiency and productivity while effectively coordinating our service technicians' operations. Always looking for ways to streamline operations, you create, implement, and monitor company procedures. You are responsible for guaranteeing that all service technicians are properly trained. Using your excellent customer service skills, you explain the service to the customer and check for satisfaction.

After reviewing all service invoices, you provide our accounting department with daily billing by 9:00 AM. You perform monthly vehicle and tool inspections and ensure that all service vehicles are clean, stocked, and running properly. When appropriate, you help service technicians out in the field. Your efforts help to ensure our service department's profitability and growth. You find great satisfaction in helping our service department run efficiently and effectively!

Desired Skills

  • 3+ years of related experience in a customer service or service industry management position or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Computer literacy

This service management position typically works Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM and on some weekends and evenings.
