Position Summary:

Walker-Miller Energy Services (W-M) is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Program Coordinator to support the successful implementation of the Contractor Capital Access Program. This initiative focuses on increasing access to capital for small and medium-sized diverse-owned contractors engaged in the clean energy economy. The Program Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting program logistics, stakeholder engagement, data collection, and communication across all phases of the project.

The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Program Manager, internal teams, and external partners to ensure timely and effective execution of program activities.

This role is likely to evolve as the program progresses, in response to emerging needs and priorities.

Program Support

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of all phases of the Contractor Capital Access Program.
  • Maintain and update project timelines, calendars, and action items to ensure on-time deliverables.
  • Support the Program Manager with the preparation of reports, presentations, and program updates.
  • Assist with tracking project goals, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Assist with program build out and design.

Stakeholder and Partner Engagement

  • Coordinate outreach efforts and meeting logistics for stakeholders, including financial institutions, community-based organizations, and contractors.
  • Draft communications, follow-ups, and materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Maintain accurate contact lists and engagement records.
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of program-related events, workshops, and briefings.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Collect, organize, and maintain program data in collaboration with the Program Manager.
  • Track key metrics and outcomes, supporting the development of reporting materials and dashboards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of program activities, communications, and financial tracking inputs.

Inclusion and Market Development Support

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Market Development Action Plan that supports W-M’s mission of fair access and inclusive economic opportunity.
  • Contribute to activities that advance clean energy access for historically underserved businesses and communities.

Desired Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, community engagement, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Commitment to inclusion, clean energy, and community empowerment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Communications, Sustainability, or related field.
  • Experience working with diverse or underserved communities or small business support programs.
  • Familiarity with clean energy, economic development, or community finance topics.
  • Experience supporting budget tracking or grant/program reporting.

Travel Requirements
