At Align Production Systems, we engineer custom solutions for the world’s toughest material handling challenges. We’re looking for a Welding Supervisor to lead our fabrication and welding team, driving daily performance while mentoring talent and ensuring quality at every step.

  • Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the welding team to meet safety, quality, and production goals
  • Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and mechanical drawings to ensure correct fabrication
  • Enforce AWS welding procedures and quality standards
  • Perform inspections for weld quality, fit-up, and dimensional accuracy
  • Train and mentor team members to build technical and leadership skills
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production Planning teams to resolve issues and stay on schedule
  • Track and report production data, material usage, and team performance metrics
  • Champion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement within the department
  • 5+ years of welding/fabrication leadership in a manufacturing environment
  • Active Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks and ability to interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of welding materials, methods, and AWS standards
  • Effective communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • High proficiency in reading technical drawings and work instructions

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (e.g., Industrial Technology)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
