We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Efficiency Program Manager to join our team at Walker-Miller Energy Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing program management and leadership for various energy efficiency programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead large-scale energy efficiency programs and services to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency from inception to completion.
  • Develop and manage financial budgets, including forecasting revenue and expenses to ensure financial stability and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to program staff, including managing education/awareness of program offerings, marketing activities, and assisting team to creatively meet or exceed the goals of the program.
  • Coordinate effectively with neighboring utilities (both gas and electric) to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Monitor and manage program budgets to ensure full utilization of funds while meeting or exceeding activity.
  • Prepare activity reports as required to the client by the requested due date.
  • Be a positive role model and voice of the program, effectively communicating with area stakeholders interested in the success of the effort.
  • Incorporate "best practice" methods of energy efficiency program implementation.
  • Provide effective project management skills in leading this program.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of operations year after year.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, engineering, or other discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing energy efficiency programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years management/supervisory experience, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and mentoring.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems.
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred.
