Residential Remediation Field Specialist Springfield, IL Peoria, IL
The Residential Remediation Field Specialist is responsible for supporting all Health and Safety remediation activities associated with delivering the Ameren Illinois Home Efficiency Income Qualified (HEIQ) Program. In this role, you will be responsible for the review, evaluation and coordination of contractors completing Health & Safety remediation projects including, but not limited to knob & tube wiring, mold, suspect asbestos and more. This position will also be responsible for any field-related inspections or visits to verify H&S need or work completed.
This position will work with program management to develop a work plan to monitor project statuses, timelines and potential future growth of the Health & Safety projects with the overall goal of ensuing the deliverables meet the client’s requirements in a timely and effective manner. A qualified candidate is self- motivated, takes initiative and is willing to accept responsibility for results and is charged with effectively managing relationships

- Assists with the development and implementation of plans to attract, retain and expand Health & Safety contractors to meet program objectives.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the program’s strategic direction and initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy regarding contractor project submission and project completion.
- Assist the client with idea generation and research on program options and projects to reach goal.
- Support the management of the utility relationship as required and serve as an advocate for the

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven leadership abilities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize workload.
- Must be flexible to handle a wide variety of tasks and complete work in a timely fashion in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Licenses & Certifications
Valid driver’s license.
Certification or knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Building Science Principles, Building Analyst Technician, Building Analyst Professional, or Weatherization
Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time in the Ameren Illinois service territory.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls
The team member is frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
