We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and tuning of pipe organs. This role requires a commitment to high-quality workmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. As travel is required to various locations for on-site service, a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Repair:
  2. Perform routine maintenance on pipe organs, including cleaning, tuning, and adjusting various components.
  3. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in pipe organs.
  4. Replace worn or damaged parts to ensure optimal performance of the instruments.
  1. Installation and Upgrades:
  2. Assist with the installation of new pipe organs or the upgrading of existing ones.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure installations are completed efficiently and accurately.
  1. Customer Service:
  2. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on maintenance and repair options.
  3. Ensure timely and courteous responses to service requests and inquiries.
  1. Travel:
  2. Travel to various locations to perform on-site maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  3. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly transported and maintained


Desired Skills

  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with musical instruments or ability to read sheet music
  • Observational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of electricity
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Good vision and hearing for diagnosing issues and fine-tuning instruments.
