We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC units and systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical components.
- Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, including plumbing as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Desired Skills
- 2+ years of HVAC installation experience is required.
- Proficiency in appliance repair and mechanical skills is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience in property maintenance or building trades will be considered an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
