We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Carle Health. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all types of HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including installation, modification, and testing
- Perform preventive maintenance and quality assurance testing to ensure systems are functioning properly
- Assist with design and installation of new systems and modifications to existing systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of facilities
- Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise and knowledge
Desired Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration services
- Extensive knowledge of temperature controls and HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and motor vehicle registration
