We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with a focus on both installation and maintenance. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems effectively. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of HVAC units in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning units and boilers.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure safety standards are met.
- Provide field service support by responding to service calls in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns.
Drive company vehicles to various job sites as needed
Desired Skills
- 2+ years of HVAC experience required.
- Background in mechanical design or property maintenance is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and air conditioning operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
- Valid driver's license required for van driving responsibilities.
