We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. The technician will work closely with clients to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including heating, cooling, and ventilation problems.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Install new HVAC systems according to design specifications and schematics.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address any related mechanical or plumbing issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Desired Skills
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the service industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques and boiler systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform property maintenance tasks as needed, including plumbing work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.
